Avonhead Shopping Centre - Newsletter

The 'Avonhhead Word' is a community newsletter published to 20,000 homes in the Avonhead area.

Immersion Marketing collaborated with the retailers of the Avonhead Shopping Centre to develop a local newsletter that provided a platform for showcasing their stores and building ties with the community.

The 'Avonhead Word' is a quarterly publication featuring promotions and points of interest such as local community events and articles of interest, as well as specific retailer profiles and product reviews. It is a bright and colourful publication with eyecatching detail, printed and finished on high quality stock.

The response from both retailers and shoppers has been extremely positive, with a measurable increase in foot-traffic evident following each distribution.

4:30 @ 140 George Open Night - Event Management

4.30 @ 140 Artwork by Manu Berry
Here at Immersion Marketing's headquarters we are inspired every day by the creative people that pop in and out of the building. It's fantastic being able to pop next door to Alan Dove's photography studio, or Manu Berry's printmaking studio... don't get us started on St Clair Design downstairs, races and wedding frocks are sorted for life!

We wanted the whole world to know how special our building was. So we developed and pitched the concept of a joint showcase, and so 4.30 @ 140 George was born.

Held on the 5th November 2010 the evening was a huge success attracting an estimated crowd of 500-600... there was a queue to the street!

We managed to source fantastic sponsorship from Emersons Breweries and Cilantro Cafe, as well as pulling together over $3,000 worth of prizes.

We look forward to holding the event again soon. A special thanks to Emersons Brewery and Cilantro Cafe for sponsoring this event.

Ari Designs E-Newsletter

Dunedin based fashion accessories designer Linda Malam of Ari Designs approached Immersion Marketing to help launch her exclusive 2011 Collection.
Our initial focus was to help launch the incoming shipment of Ari Designs Stock. We immediately developed a brand platform and applied this to a branded email newsletter.

Through the newsletter we were able to efficiently and immediately announce the arrival of their long awaited 2011 Collection.

Needing overall strategic direction and input, Linda really appreciates Immersion's hands on approach and loves the final product. We look forward to upcoming developments such as the website launch in early December 2010, marketing strategy to establish positioning and differentiation of the brand for long term sustainability and catalogue release in early 2011.

Scissortrix - Client Referral & Appointment Card

Immersion came up with a novel way to combine the traditional Salon appointment card, loyalty card and referral card into one. This way every Salon client who makes an appointment is a potential referral source, every appointment card has a perforated 'refer a friend' voucher attached.

The cards are finished with a high quality finish for that extra 'wow' factor, in matt laminate and spot UV gloss in places. Demografik were our creative partner and Federal Print produced the cards.

Colombus & Ware Re-Opening SALE

Immersion's favourite menswear store Colombus & Ware are having a massive clearance sale starting today. Unfortunately Peter and Walter had to close the shop for two weeks due to the earthquake, as such they lost valuable time in their end of season sale.
All of their famous menswear brands are being reduced like never before and it won't be repeated. Get down there and help them out.

Lambton Square - Spring in the Square promotion

Spring in the Square was a great way to launch the new Lambton Square 'It's all inside the square' branding campaign. Immersion sourced full sponsorship of the generous prize package from House of Travel - an all expenses paid return trip for two to the Hunter Valley, New South Wales, Australia.
The promotion was advertised across flyers, newspaper, in-store signage, online and point of sale material at every store counter.

Lambton Square - Logo and Brand Creative platform

Following a strategic review of Lambton Square we identified our first mission as developing a new logo and brand creative platfrom that better positioned the centre’s retail offering, location and all-round proposition.

We were also very conscious of Lambton Square's location in the heart of downtown Wellington. The branding needed elements that identifed with the ‘personality’ and culture of downtown Wellington.

Immersion appointed Demografik as our creative partner on the Lambton Square re-brand project. Janine from Demografik is a Wellingtonian herself and so was particularly passionate about the opportunity.

Testimonial - The National Property Trust

Sarah's approach is refreshing , she is really focussed on delivering marketing campaigns that achieve measurable results.

Sarah changed my opinion about marketing professionals, previously I was not convinced on their ability to totally understand our product, however after having observed Sarah transform Eastgate and Avonhead marketing programs I am now convinced.

Her sound grasp of businesses fundamentals has seen her add value on 'objectives' such as footcount, average spend, budgets, turnover and valuations.

By using Immersion we have been able to add a higher level of professionalism and strategic thinking to the Eastgate and Avonhead marketing programs.

Testimonial - Global PC

We employed the services of Immersion Marketing for the launch of our Global PC Homebase Megastore. Immersion took care of the end to end management of the launch, from the initial strategy and media placement, through to onsite event management on the day.

The results spoke for themselves, with queues waiting for the store to open, the opening day had our highest ever number of transactions in our 13 years of operation and sales exceeded forecasted budget.

Immersion also setup an e-mail marketing system for us, which has resulted in growth of the customer database by over 15%.

Testimonial - Otago Boys' High School Foundation

The Otago Boys' High School Foundation recently engaged the services of Sarah Girvan – Immersion Marketing to implement E-Marketing services to broaden our communication options to our extensive alumni database.

The company name says it all – Immersion. Sarah's ability to immerse herself and understand our core business from the outset whilst grasping our objectives and requirements confirmed the many strong referrals we had received from other business professionals.

Her approach was simple – she listened, then listened again, and then got to work. The end product now means we have precise reports on our communication, our emails look amazing and the feedback from our alumni has been terrific.

Her attention to detail, ability to get it right and desire for going the extra mile made for one of the most accurate and hassle free system updates the Foundation has been through in recent years.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Immersion Marketing to any company looking for strong marketing guidance and tools.

Doug Kamo, Chief Executive - Otago Boys' High School Foundation
