The Midwinter Carnival is a fantastic family focussed event that truly showcases Dunedin's rich artistic talent. Organised by a group of extremely passionate artists and volunteers Immersion added our public relations expertise to the mix and enjoyed working on the project immensely.
The results spoke for themselves, an estimated crowd of 10,000, the event's biggest turnout ever and an increase of over 40% on 2009. Significant media in the lead-up to the Carnival saw all lantern making workshops sell out in record time and generated an estimated $78k worth of media coverage.
